One from the vaults that after a decade finally sees the light of day. Originally lined up for release on another label and having got as far as being mastered and almost sent to the pressing plant, it got delayed and eventually shelved due to lack of funding and has sat in the dark recesses of a hard drive ever since.

This album was inspired by the infamous futuristic and dystopian cult UK Marvel comic 'Dragon's Claws' that barely lasted a year from June 1988 - April 1989 and was stopped after only 10 issues after Marvel received overwhelming volumes of complaints from parents about the excessive violence and gore it presented to the gleeful young readers of the time. With a leap of imagination that defies reality, this is a soundtrack album for a movie of the comic that was never made, that would have been produced in Italy in the late 1980s and titled 'Artigli di Drago'. The composer would have been the mysterious and enigmatic Gianni Piero, a man living in the brave new world of late 80s digital synthesis while keeping one foot planted firmly in the country's glorious analogue past. We'll never know how amazing that film could have been, but we can at least listen to what it might have sounded like and dream! We recommend reading the comic (available in a single complete collected volume from Marvel) while you listen for maximum effect.
